Online & In Person Therapy for Anxiety
Online
No traffic or parking needed, just some privacy and a decent enough internet connection. Call in as you are! Whatever makes it easiest for you to show up is fine with me and at this point I’ve seen it all. You can call into session between meetings or at the end of a long day. We’ll make every minute count.
In Person
I currently see clients in person at least once weekly, using my Washington, D.C. office in DuPont Circle. Whether you prefer to attend therapy in person, just want a change of scenery, or need an excuse to get away, I’ll be happy to have you. It’s calm, quiet, and close to plenty of cafes for a post-therapy treat. Learn more about my office here.

This helps us get to know each other better so we can figure out if we’re the right fit. These calls are very casual and there is no pressure. I just want to help you find support so if for some reason I don’t seem like the right fit for you I’ll send some referrals your way within a week.

Personalized, specialized, high-quality therapy available to you online and in person. Maybe you’ll come in nervous or hesitant, but I’ll help you feel comfortable and confident in the process. I’ll ask questions that help me understand the context of your life and we’ll spend some time exploring your goals for therapy.
We settle into therapy
3
We’ll get to know each other and fall into the rhythm of therapy. I’ll help you explore what’s working for you and what’s not. We’ll work towards the goals you set using a blend of evidence-based treatment modalities. Therapy will be a place for you to process the stressors of life, gain understanding, and learn concrete coping skills.
You feel better

Progress is not linear, but I would say most clients feel at least a bit better right away. There is just something really powerful about sitting down with a human who cares. At the end of therapy my hope is that you’ll be feeling better mentally, emotionally, and physically. Whatever your goals are, you’ll be better equipped to handle life’s ups and downs.
